sYou could date nanotechnology's origins at about 400 BCE. Or, you could date if from the medieval period when we used it in stained glass and in Damascus steel blades. Or, you could refer to Richard Feynman's 1959 seminal talk titled 'There's lots of room at the bottom' for nanotechnology's origin story. (For an alternate perspective on the modern origins story, under Jump joints, click on Storytellers create nano.)
