Style

Writing: literate is good.

Footnotes

Use sources so someone else can confirm or verify your information.

Use the citation format you know. Be sure someone else can find your source.

Don't worry about ibid, op cit, and all that. Repeat your references as you don't know what changes may come in the next iteration. e.g. If you write up two paragraphs and place a footnote only after the second paragraph, in the next revision you may lose the paragraph that has the footnote.

Graphics and other media files

Get permission and give attribution where you've placed the file in the wiki and put details on the Copyright and permissions page. There are many examples on this wiki.

For sizing the images, do your best.

For captions, from the Edit bar, click on Size and choose, 85%.

Links

Cross reference a link in the text to one of the link categories. Example: For more about 'frankenfood, under Jump joints, click on Frankenstein and frankenfoods). The only exception is for copyright and permission information.

Jump back (heading level 4): returns you to the level directly preceding the one where you are currently e.g. if you Jump back from 'Memristors' you will be taken to 'Sticky and fast') unless you are at a topic area main page.
